Clean water is fundamental to our survival, but 2.1 billion people around the world don’t have access to it.
You can help change this. Join thousands of people around the world to Workout for Water by hosting or taking part in a one-of-a-kind workout. Create your own fundraising page on movetheworld.live, and invite your friends and family to make a donation to your page! he more money you raise, the more clean water pumps you could help UNICEF build in East Africa.
A water pump costs $414 USD, and just one pump can bring clean, safe drinking water to an entire community. Your #WorkoutForWater could change lives on a scale like never before.
Let’s workout to get fit. Let’s workout to change lives. Let’s Workout for Water.
All funds raised through this global fundraising campaign will be used by UNICEF to help children and their
families gain access to safe water, healthcare and food in some of the
world’s poorest nations.
We’re choosing to Workout for Water, as water crises significantly impact
children, especially the most vulnerable. When kids have to rely on
unsafe water, they become weak, malnourished and susceptible to
water-borne diseases, which are among the leading causes of death in
children under five.
"There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children."
- Nelson Mandela
AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN WHEN KIDS GET THE CHANCE TO THRIVE

3.7 miles | 45 LBS
3.7 miles (6 kms) is the average distance a child in East Africa must walk to collect clean water, carrying jerry cans weighing up to 45 lbs (20 kgs). That's 8,000 steps every single day, just for safe drinking water.
